We generally plan newsletter topics based on client issues on which we are working. This newsletter includes trade secret, wage and hour, and pregnancy leave issues. Each of these issues addresses core profitability and risk management concerns of every employer to protect confidential information, control payroll costs, and enhance employee morale and productivity. These issues, like many in employment law, seem simple on the surface but are often complicated or overlooked by employers.
