Reish Luftman Reicher & Cohen is pleased to announce that David Pratt, professor of law at Albany Law School in New York, has become Of Counsel to the firm, and will join our already well-established and growing Employee Benefits practice area.
Since 1994, David has been a professor of law at Albany Law School in New York, where he teaches courses in employee benefits (ERISA) and federal income taxation. While David's academic interests and experience are broad, his primary focus since 1976 has been in the area of employee benefits, where he has specialized in the design and implementation of retirement plans and other employee benefit programs for a wide range of private and public sector clients. Furthermore, David has pursued subspecialties in the areas of Section 403(b) arrangements for tax-exempt organizations and Section 457 plans for governmental entities.
Our work with tax-exempt and government plan sponsors is among the fastest growing area of our diverse Employee Benefits practice. The addition of David now provides us with much greater depth, experience and expertise in these areas.
