Areas of Practice Business Professional Experience Emily practices in the area of corporate law, assisting start-ups and closely held businesses in drafting corporate documents including shareholder and operating agreements, to employer and confidentiality agreements, and manufacturing and distribution agreements. Emily’s work also demonstrates an emphasis in emerging digital technologies, particularly internet and ecommerce platforms; she has drafted intellectual property documents such as agreements for trademark and software licensing, engine architecture, website and open source application development, maintenance and co-use. She also has experience litigating disputes involving breach of contract and business and securities fraud, as well as trademark infringement and trade secret misappropriation. She is admitted to practice in California and is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Education Emily received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004. She received her B.A. in History from Yale University in 1998.
