JAMIE L. KIM Email: JamieKim@Reish.com Jamie Kim is an associate in the Tax and Estate Planning Department of the law firm of Reish Luftman Reicher & Cohen. Areas of Practice Tax, Estate Planning and Probate Business Professional Experience Jamie practices in the areas of tax, estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She focuses her estate planning practice on estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning. She advises clients at all stages of probate and trust administration. Jamie also handles preparation of estate and gift tax returns, and deals with the County Assessor's Office and the Assessment Appeals Board regarding property tax issues concerning change in ownership and valuation disputes. She has experience advising trustees and officers of public charities and private foundations in obtaining tax-exempt status. Jamie is admitted to practice in California and is an active member of the California State Bar Taxation Section and the Los Angeles County Bar Association Taxation Section. On November 2, 2007, she co-presented “Property Tax Issues and Trust Administration” at the 2007 Annual Meeting of the California Tax Bar and the California Tax Policy Conference. Education Jamie received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley (B.A., 1997, with highest honors) and her law degree and Masters in Taxation from Loyola Law School (J.D., 2001, LLM Tax, 2004).
