Professional Experience
Pascal has experience in all facets of litigation, including mediations, trial preparation and jury and bench trials. Pascal’s primary area of practice consists of Labor & Employment Law and Employment Litigation, successfully defending employers in state and federal court proceedings against claims of wrongful terminations, discrimination as well as wage and hour issues and unlawful employment practices in government administrative proceedings. In addition to his employment law practice, Pascal has successfully represented clients in a broad range of matters including business, construction, real estate, and ERISA/employee benefits matters.
Pascal is admitted to practice before all the state courts of California and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of California. Pascal was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the University of California at Davis School of Law Alumni Association as a Board member. He is fluent in French and Hebrew as well as conversant in Persian.
Education
Pascal earned his J.D. from the University of California at Davis (King Hall) in 1999. At King Hall, Pascal served as Staff Editor on Law Review. He also served as an extern to Senior Judge Arthur L. Alarcón, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, during his first Summer of law school. Pascal received B.A. degrees in Economics and French Studies, summa cum laude, from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1996.
